Towerfall Ascension - PS4 [Digital Code]

TowerFall Ascension is the definitive version of the hit archery combat game. Inspired by classics from the golden age of couch multiplayer, it's a local party game centering around hilarious, intense versus matches. The core mechanics are simple and accessible, but hard to master and combat is fierce. Loot treasure chests for game-changing power-ups, master the art of catching arrows out of the air, or descend on your foes and stomp them into submission. TowerFall is best played competitively with friends, cross-legged on the floor within punching distance of each other. New in Ascension is the 1- or 2-player co-op Quest mode. Players work together, fighting off a variety of monsters and enemy archers across the land of TowerFall. It's a new adventure to explore when you don't have more friends handy to square off against. 1-4 players DUALSHOCK®4 720p HD Video Output

1) Multiplayer fun in it's purest form -  This game is seriously so fun. We have a PS4 at work and we play this every day for lunch. As much as I love to play games with fancy graphics, this game is proof that fancy graphics are not necessary for fun. Also I love to play video games with people in the SAME ROOM as me. I hate the trend of games going to online multiplayer only.

2) The Mona Lisa of Modern Entertainment - This retro 8-bit platformer will have you hooked in minutes.
Unlike many modern franchises that attempt to achieve hyper-realistic graphics and miss the mark, this game embraces a simpler form and brings it to perfection. Here are some of it's best qualities:

- 4 player VS Mode, perhaps the most intense party game since Super Smash Bros.
- 2 player Quest Mode, a cooperative killing spree through a dozen or so monster-infested settings.
- "Easy to learn, difficult to master gameplay" that allows for extremely self-satisfying skill development.
- A massive variety of "variants" (weapons, rules, special effects, bonuses, etc) that keeps the game fresh and exciting.
- Several unlockable characters and settings, including a few hidden "easter egg" surprises.
- Ridiculously smooth gameplay and control layout.

Fantastic game. 10/10. Definitely worth 15 of your hard-earned dollars.
